Sunday afternoon

Let's see what's in bloom this week at Grandmothers' Garden, shall we?

The pond is lined with yellow irises.

I found these tiny little yellow flowers along the main path in the wildlife sanctuary yesterday. Anyone have any idea what they are?

spark

I thought at first they were honeysuckle, from afar, until I got closer and had a better look.

I really should get a wildflower book, shouldn't I? ;)

Happy Memorial Day

I went to the parade in downtown Westfield this morning, where people gathered to honor those who have served their country, especially those who gave their lives for it.

It was nice to see such a large crowd turn out for the veterans. It was perfect weather for a parade, too!

Stanley Park photowalk

angelic, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

I met a few friends at Stanley Park today, to show them one of my favorite places, and to take a lot of pictures. The weather held, despite some threatening clouds, and we explored the many nooks and crannies of this lovely park.
