I went down to Heritage Park in East Longmeadow on my lunch today, where the water in the pond was very high and partly crusted over with thin ice.

The gulls were perched on said ice, which at times broke through, sending them flapping for another place to stand.



Not nearly as funny as watching geese break through the ice, but amusing nonetheless. :)
