I thought a little evoking of summer would be a relief after all these days of cold, so I dug in the archives, and found this pretty thistle flower that I took at Brushwood Folklore Center in Sherman, NY last year. I can feel the sunshine on my back just looking at it.

Lizzie, very nice photos. Your composition is unique and shows your exceptional eye for the unusual. I especially like your fungi photos. Sure hope you got your "wish" camera...however, your current camera works wonders in your hands. Keep up the good works! Dee
