Not far from where I live, there's a lovely little spot called Grandmothers' Garden. In the Colonial Revival style, the park was designed as a memorial to the mother of the man who deeded the property to the city of Westfield. It is maintained entirely by volunteers, and it has a lovely assortment of flowers and ornamental plants, as well as brick-paved pathways and a wisteria-covered gazebo.

It's great to see the park is being maintained so well. For much of the 70s it was an overgrown mess o' plants. (Gave us kids good cover when we were up to no good though!)
